The grasshopper is considered Good Luck, when found in ones home.
This one changed it's color to match the background.I stopped putting the toad out at night, in order for him tp keep the insect population under cotrol.

I so enjoyed the nights and the creatures: oh, sometimes they were a bit unnerving (huge cockroaches, the possum that ate the fruit on our kitchen counter), but behind my mosquito netting I relaxed into the sounds and the silence of the such a rich, dark, mysterious jungle! 🙂
